Candice McManis

Licensed Clinical Social Worker


Candice Mcmanis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families utilizing Structural Family Therapy. Candice also specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with life transitions including a new school, job loss, divorce, new medical diagnoses, and grief and loss. Candice has been working in the mental health field for over 12 years and has comprehensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Candice also enjoys utilizing MI and health coaching. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. Candice earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Direct Practice and a Mental Health concentration. Candice is an avid researcher and has been published in the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse and is currently working on an article for the Journal of American Medicine focusing on social work in the primary care setting. “My aspiration in everything I do is to inspire, empower and encourage individuals to grow and heal.”
