Emma approaches her therapeutic work with a focus on developing a caring, honest, accepting, and unique counseling relationship with each client. Within this dynamic she encourages clients to develop a strong curiosity about their internal emotional worlds, while empowering them to find the strength and self-compassion within themselves to delve deeply into therapeutic work.
Emma has been trained in Psychodynamic and Behavioral therapy techniques which she integrates with her training in Queer and Feminist theory, as well as Humanistic and Person-Centered therapy. Emma specializes in working with adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, self-acceptance, gender expression, sexual identity, and relationship difficulties.
